I learned something new today from this article. I never would have thought to dry brush my teeth before I brush them. I will have to ask my cousin and uncle to see their opinion on that.

City with my cousin

On November 5th( yes I am way behind on posting this) I went into Chicago to hang out with my cousin, Eryn. This was my first time driving to her place BY MYSELF! Normally my parents drive into the city. I def want to go back and visit her again. Next trip I think will be for my birthday. My cousin is so much fun. We went to this restaurant that was known for making their own susages and brewing their own beer. 

Everything we had was delicious.

Main dish:

those purplish things on top were hot peppers but the white sauce was sweet so, it was a great combination of a kick in your mouth with sweetness. 

After that we went to a kareokee bar. I didn't end up singing but my cousin busted out a tune or two. 

Oh how I wish I could live in the city

Butternut Squash

Last week I  cooked  and I made this butternut squash with bacon, blue cheese with green onion. I hadn't eaten butternut squash in a while so I honetly had no idea if I would like it or not, and suprisly I did. I would make this dish over again.

I am starting to get into the Christmas mood thanks to trying to buy my sister and brother in law's present before I leave for Thanksgiving,  I ran upon this article on yahoo  about what to buy at the dollar store. 

I liked the fact you can buy cleaning supplies at a good price there. Would have never thought to buy that there.
