BUSY BEAUTIFUL DAY

TODAY was great. I spent my day hanging out with my best friend Jackie. We went bridesmaid's shopping and then we went to the Morton Arboretum to walk around and get some exercise, and we randomly walked into this

Jackie and I really wanted to see what it was made out of. I thought it could have been made out of legos, but I was wrong.

It was just made out of wood. LAME!!! Lego's would have kicked ass!

Then we walked into this interesting plant. It was pretty but totally odd to us.

That night I got a chance to go to a

game. I got a beer in this fab cup. When I first came I had to get a stamp on my hand and show my ID to drink alcohol.  I gave the " alcohol guy " my ID upside down on accident and he goes, " is she drunk already?" My uncle goes " no she's just happy like this all the time. I don't know why she drinks."  I started laughing when the ID man told me that.


During the game it was superhero night and people dressed up as their favorite hero. Before we left my uncle and I got a pic with this guy.

Then as we were walking back to our car we got to see

Mexican Salad

Thursday night I made dinner for my parents and I made a mexican salad. It was delicious. If you know me I DO NOT EAT salads but I would definitely make this again.

After dinner Jenna and I made a healthy smoothie. We used strawberries, blueberries, banana's and ice.

Music Video Time

My new Britney Spears obsessed song! How can you go wrong with a girl that has fabulous red highlights and kicks people's butts in her video.

This song really does just make you SMILE! I am not digging her green highlights tho.. Go back to pink Avril!

This my FAVORITE SONG from my favorite band!!! I met all of the band members and in college I got to hug the lead guitarist.

I was so happy. I would love to see them in concert again.

Funday Sunday with family and friends

Today I spent the day with this lovely lady.

She is my grandma Gerber. Today at the nursing home they had a hula dancers such as these

They were really good. They got the audience involved and had a guy dancer and younger girl dancer as well. There were decorations everywhere.

Then later in the evening I hung out with

Jenna and we played 

Fun times. Def a hilarious game when playing with friends.

Fabulous Friday

Friday was a busy day but FABULOUS!

I started out my day going out to a new Thai restaurant called Chopsticks. At the restaurant we got served a complimentary soup and we had a chive filled dumpling.

For my main course I had

 mango chicken. I loved it. I stuffed myself. Then I went and chilled with Julie at her

pool. Later that night to keep myself busy I went out and painted pottery with

Jackie. She was so OCD about her painting compared to Jenna and me.  Jenna painted

It was a perfect day.

Happy 4th of July everyone! Fireworks are probably my favorite part of of the fourth besides the bbq.
