The best thing to happen tonight was these two are ENGAGED!!!! Jackie called me tonight to tell me. I literally screamed and was like OH MY GOSH! 

I now have 4 friends that are engaged!

Bad Teacher

Over the weekend I randomly went and saw Bad Teacher. I wanted to see it because  I am a teacher and  I wanted a laugh.

I would recommend people, also teachers to go see it because Cameron's character is over exaggerated  and, because of that factor she makes you laugh. She does some stuff that would truly get you fired as a teacher its funny. Justin Timberlake is also in the movie and he is pretty dorky but great addition to the movie.

I would give it 3 stars because I had no idea how the movie was going to end and I laughed out loud a lot during the movie. I think more than my friend.

First BBQ of the Summer.

Yesterday I got to go over to my Aunts House and see this lovely lady.

I haven't seen Eryn since her birthday on St. Patrick's day.  It was so nice I finally got to enjoy my first

hotdog of the summer  and enjoyed the company of her and her friends. We chilled all day in my aunt's  pool and enjoyed the sunshine.

Mighty Ducks

Tonight was all about old school movies. I ran across this movie as I was looking on OnDemand.
It brought me back to my elementary school days and also days when my college friends and I would sit for hrs and watch all three Mighty Duck movies.  It brought back some good memories.

Britney Spears Femme Fatale

This CD is another big hit. It took me a while to warm up to it but once I decided that  I AM DETERMINED TO GO TO HER CONCERT THIS COMING JULY, I knew I would love it.

Jenna's Birthday Celebration :)

JENNA  FINALLY TURNS 25!!!! 

Downtown Naperville was the place to be on Saturday!

The night started out with Jenna announcing to us all this is her " boyfriend jake!"

 We were shocked this guy showed up. : ) The birthday girl was very happy to see him!

Roommie's from college. Becca and Jenna. Friendship still staying strong. Jenna's in Becca's wedding next Summer.

Then we went to a piano bar and we found out they had Pomegranate martini's. Jenna and I split it. It def did not taste like " drinking candy." It was much stronger. Limestone Brewery makes a much better one.

Next Bar: Rizzo's. It's the girl shot with the cute guys in the back ground.

Then we went to a Mexican bar for her to get a Margarita, and at 12:05 Jenna, me and Becca took a shot of 

 a lemon drop! We started her birthday off right!

YESTERDAY WAS ANOTHER ADVENTURE WITH THIS LADY..

WHO BY THE WAY IS TURNING 25 ON SUNDAY!!!

We went to the Bolingbrook Promenade to listen to free music and Jenna ended up getting awesome earrings from Charming Charlie's.

Then we went to this place

We got all of this for $5.95! 

It was sample beers. We thought it was a great deal. We loved this one

This is the beer they feature during Octoberfest. It was delicious. It was crisp. 

Then we randomly went to another bar in Plainfield and Jenna got 

I took a sip and I said " it's like drinking candy."

Jenna really got a pomegranate martini for 5 bucks :) 

It was a great night starting the birthday celebrations with this girl! 

Tomorrow we party on!!!

Summer Corn Salsa

This is my obsession and love to eat this summer. It is so simple to eat.

You need black beans( mexican style: one can)
corn( one can corn- whole kettle)
red onion( you make the decision on how much)
cumin( put as much as you feel will give it a nice flavor)
cilantro( I chop enough that when I mix it you can see it everywhere. You want to cut off the stems and cut them in small pieces)


For the past 2 days that is what I have eaten for lunch and dinner. I love it.

Color Me Mine

is one of my favorite places and yesterday I went there with one of my favorite people:

Marianne. Yesterday she was in her convent outfit as well. I haven't gotten to see her since March. It has been way to long.  Color me mine is one of our favorite places to go together. I decided on this piece to paint.

I didn't take any pictures of me painting it because it is for someone's birthday and I don't want to spoil the surprise of the end result.

Marianne on the other hand painted this:

Everything that she paints she always puts a smilie face on it somewhere. I thought it was fitting where she put this one. :)

To end the day we got a picture together.

The reason you don't see my hands in the picture is because they were covered with paint and I didn't want to get Marianne dirty. That is wonderful I only had paint on my hands because normally I have it all over my clothes too.

Downtown Plainfield

Last night was a new adventure for us in Downtown Plainfield. We started our adventure at a wine bar and received

free cheese cake. I am not a cheese cake fan but I tried it and I did not like it. I made funny expression on my face and then when I looked up the manager was at our table asking if we liked it. I said "it's nothing against you I am not a cheese cake person." He then asked if I like chocolate and I said yes and then BAMB I got

It tasted like heaven. I normally I am not a big chocolate cake person but oh my gosh I would just go back to that place for that desert.

Then we went to MoJoe's and they were playing music and there were a bunch of cute guys. There was this guy that kept on looking over at my direction.  I did not go up to him because Becca and I were having to much fun in our seats dancing.

was the last place we went to and it was one of my favs because I am a huge Irish Pub kind of girl.

our server was great he gave us all free beers to try and Jenna and I shared this one. 

It was fruity and citrusy flavored. 

I got to talk to this guy because these two are " supposedly dating" and I wanted to get to know him better. I asked him 20 questions. Then we closed the bar and left. 

I would def. go back to downtown Plainfield. 

Chocolate Chip Deliciousness

Yesterday was a fabulous day. I hung out with my friend and we watched this hilarious movie

The best part of the movie were these kids:

The boy in the movie said some of the best lines in the movie such as, " she takes spinning class like people popping m&m's." 

The movie didn't get good reviews but I would give it a 3. It was predictable but funny. 

As we were watching this movie we had this deliciousness

It is chocolate chip cookie dough( safe to eat)

First you heat up a stick of a butter and brown sugar. Then you add vanilla abstract. 

Then you mix sugar and cream cheese together. Add the mixture from the stove and chocolate chips of course and get the end results!

First full day of Summer

Today was a wonderful great first day of summer.  I woke up and had my all time favorite cereal.

I love this cereal because it gives me fiber and it keeps me fuller for a longer period of time than other cereals.

Last Full Day of School

Today was the last full day of school. Tomorrow at 12 I am officially done :)

Today was wonderful I got to watch

Toy Story 3 with my K-2 graders all morning. It was perfect.  I love this movie. My favorite part is when

Buzz is in Spanish speaking mode and dances! So funny!   Today flew by.

Tomorrow here I come.
